David Leun joins H2M as Municipal Engineering Department Manager

H2M architects + engineers is pleased to announce the addition of David K. Leun, P.E. to its staff, where he will be serving as the Municipal Engineering Department Manager in the firm’s New City location.

David joins H2M with over 16 years of industrial and municipal engineering experience, with involvement in pharmaceutical and industrial wastewater design, corporate environmental support, and program management of municipal water and wastewater capital improvements.

As a member of H2M’s staff, David will be responsible for providing program and project management for New York City Department of Environmental Protection, municipal, water, and wastewater improvement projects in the Lower Hudson Valley and Westchester County.

Before joining the firm, David was the Director of Engineering at Manganaro Consulting Engineers in Hawthorne, NY. Prior to his role at Manganaro, he spent eight years with GHD in White Plains, NY.

“I’m excited to be a part of a growing team here at H2M,” David said. “I’m looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that working with this firm will present.”

David is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State, and is also a Board Certified Environmental Engineer. He obtained both his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University.

A resident of Pomona, NY, David is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, boating, hiking and cycling.
