Firehouses Dix Hills Fire District Station 1
The Dix Hills Fire District Station 1 firehouse is an 11,000 square foot substation located in western Suffolk County, New York. It replaced an antiquated station built in the 1950's. The site is narrow and the new building was constructed directly behind the old station in order for the old station to be kept in service throughout construction.
