Inc. Village of Rockville Centre: The Village experienced iron contamination and ongoing community complaints of rusty water and staining. After other corrective measures failed, H2M determined the most effective process to remove the iron was pressure filtration and chemical pre-treatment to optimize the iron filtration process. H2M designed the iron removal treatment facility, and includes full automation for 24-hour unmanned operation. The project was completed on budget, ahead of schedule, and allowed the Village to meet its commitments to its residents.
