Elizabeth Uzzo Promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer

H2M is proud to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Uzzo from Director of Human Resources to Chief Human Resources Officer.  This promotion comes as a result to H2M remaining committed to working on their vision planning for the future.

In this role, Liz will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to senior management and the executive team regarding key organizational and management issues. In addition, Liz will develop comprehensive strategic plans for all functions of Human Resources and provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function through the oversight of all talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally.

Liz has been a valued member of H2M since 1987 and taken on the role of Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources since 1992. She has consistently led and directed the H2M Human Resources team to achieve excellence by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee development/human resources policies, programs, and practices. She has worked closely with peer groups to bring to H2M ‘first-in-class’ HR organizational clarity on operational structure, employee development, recruiting/retaining talent, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, workforce and succession planning, and strategic planning. She has spoken at national industry conferences on topics such as employee engagement and best practices in human resources.

Liz received her Bachelor’s Degree from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in Hospitality Management and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Labor Relations. She holds senior level certifications from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
