Jeff Janota joins H2M as Land Use Planning Manager

Jeff Janota, PP, AICP has joined the staff of H2M architects + engineers in Parsippany as the firm’s Department Manager of Land Use Planning. In this new role, Janota will oversee the everyday operations of the department and manage its many projects, including streetscape plans, design guidelines, redevelopment, master plans and ordinance preparation, municipal board representation, private testimony and land planning.

“I’m looking forward to building on the excellent planning foundation already established here at H2M and to making a difference in the communities we serve,” said Janota.

Janota comes to H2M with over 16 years of experience as an urban and environmental planner and development consultant. He most recently served as Vice President and Director of Planning for Birdsall Services Group in Eatontown, NJ.

A resident of Westfield, Janota holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Marist College and a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University. He is a New Jersey licensed Professional Planner and is nationally licensed through the American Planning Association.
