Groundbreaking has commenced on Westhampton Free Library Interior Renovations. Westhampton Free Library is over 100 years old making it a historic spot for the residents of Westhampton. The community voted to renovate and update the building. H2M architects + engineers will be working with Lipsky Construction on this project that includes renovations to existing facilities and converting existing unoccupied space to usable space. Renovations include a new young adult section, a new children’s department with a larger program room, expanded media section, quiet study and group study rooms. The anticipated completion date for this project is May 2019. This renovation will provide the community with an updated library that offers access to interdisciplinary and collaborative spaces, state of the art technologies and a modernized space.
