MELVILLE, NY, MAY 30, 2018 —

Celebrating its 85th Anniversary, H2M architects + engineers has announced several internal changes to their corporate leadership.  These changes, set forth by H2M’s President/CEO Rich Humann, P.E., are designed to better align the corporate structure with the growth of the firm and its Vision 2022 strategic outlook.  Among the changes are multiple transitions. James J. Roberts, P.E., to Vice President and Water/Wastewater Market Director; James Neri, P.E., Vice President to Division Director of Water Resources; Christopher Weiss, P.E., to Vice President and Director of Wastewater; Joseph Manzella, P.E., LEED AP to Vice President; Jay Pisco, P.E. to Vice President; and William Rockensies, P.E. to Vice President.

James Roberts has over 35 years of experience in engineering, construction and the operations and maintenance of New York City’s water supply, distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater management systems.  As the former Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Department of Environmental Protection, Jim brings a unique perspective to H2M’s Wastewater/Water Market.  His leadership combined with the talent of James Neri as Director of Water Resources and Christopher Weiss as Director of Wastewater supports H2M’s vision of growth in the industry and strengthens an already award winning place in the water/wastewater market.

James Neri and Christopher Weiss have been with H2M for 17 of their last 25+ years in the industry.  Both have worked on notable, award-winning projects in their respective areas of expertise.  Well respected in the industry by both clients and peers alike, their dedication to protecting the environment through all their practices are at the core of H2M’s environmental stewardship.  Their leadership paves the way for H2M’s success in both water and wastewater now and in the future.

Joseph Manzella has been with H2M for 21 years and is the Department Manager of Mechanical Engineering, where he manages the design of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various facilities.  Jay Pisco, Deputy Market Director for the Municipal Market, has more than 35 years of experience working on municipal and private projects, previously acting as the Commissioner for Westchester County’s Department of Public Works and Transportation.  William Rockensies is the Director of Construction Services and has over 30 years of experience in the industry previously acting as the Commissioner of Engineering for the Town of Hempstead.

H2M is proud to recognize the drive and accomplishments of these key leaders and looks forward to their carrying the firm to even greater heights in the years to come.

Celebrating 85 years, H2M is a full-service consulting and design firm offering the expertise of more than 390 architects, engineers (water supply, civil/site, structural, ME/P, wastewater, and environmental), planners, designers, inspectors, surveyors, and scientists.  H2M is proud of its long history of client service and consistent ability to meet architectural, engineering, and environmental challenges head on.  H2M offers a practical approach, with creative results.  For more information, please visit www.h2m.com
