H2M is Proud to Give Back to Local Food Banks as Holiday Season Begins

H2M architects + engineers (H2M) has a distinct set of core values that the company and its employees make sure to adhere by.  Among the values is community; being committed to the health of our local communities and our legacy.  Guided by this value, H2M got into the holiday spirit and made local contributions and donations in celebration of Thanksgiving.

H2M COO, Joseph Mottola, AIA, tasked H2M’s Melville office with its second annual turkey drive, hoping that we reached at least 120 turkeys to donate to the Island Harvest Food Bank.  H2Mers really stepped up, reaching a new milestone of 250 turkeys.  H2M’s regional offices followed suit and donated both food and monetary donations to their local food banks and soup kitchens as well.

In total, across the firm, H2M contributed 250 turkeys as well as a monetary donation to Island Harvest Food Bank in Bethpage, NY; Thanksgiving food to St. Barnabas Community in Bayville, NJ; and monetary donations to the Christ Episcopal Church of Ramapo Soup Kitchen in Suffern, NY.

As a company, we are proud to support local food banks as they help those who are struggling.  H2M is extremely proud of the employee participation and eagerness to give back; and are extremely humbled to be able to give a little bit of hope to those struggling during the holiday season.
