H2M Names Deputy Director of Architecture

H2M architects + engineers is proud to announce that Ron Lanner, R.A., LEED AP has been promoted to Deputy Director of Architecture.

In his new role, Mr. Lanner will be supporting the firm’s day-to-day management of its three architecture studios. He will focus on enhancing the division’s operations, which will aid the group’s continued growth.

“The decision to promote Ron comes as a result of his hard work, our sustained growth, and our philosophy of promoting from within, which enables upward mobility for our staff,” H2M’s Director of Architecture, Joe Mottola, said. “Our goal is to utilize Ron’s organizational strengths to continue improving our efficiency, production, and delivery system to our diverse client base.”

“It’s very exciting for me to be part of such a dynamic and talented group,” Mr. Lanner said. “I am looking forward to the new responsibilities and challenges that this position will entail.”

Mr. Lanner joined H2M in 1996 and was most recently the firm’s municipal architecture studio director. In his role as studio director, he has been responsible for staffing and managing client programs for large public agencies, and played a significant role in expanding the firm’s services to emergency services clients.

Mr. Lanner earned bachelor degrees in architecture and building sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He currently resides in Centerport with his wife, Stephanie, and children, Ryan and Victoria.
