H2M wins Canstruction 2014 award

We are pleased to announce that our team received an Honorable Mention at last night’s Canstruction awards reception.

This year’s structure, which was inspired by our favorite heroes in a half shell—the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles—took the team over eight hours to build. It was comprised of 4,150 cans, which Canstruction equates to 2,144 meals to feed the hungry. It will be on display at RXR Plaza in Uniondale daily, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Oct. 25 through Nov. 5.

Canstruction Long Island is an opportunity for industry professionals to network and build business relationships while showing off their talent and creativity, having fun, and helping to feed the hungry on Long Island. Once the exhibition closes, the cans are donated to Long Island Cares, Inc., The Harry Chapin Food Bank for distribution throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
