The Suffolk County 5th Precinct Police Headquarters project is a 30,000 square foot addition to and total gut renovation of a 17,000 square foot Precinct. While almost doubling the facility size, all building mechanical and electrical systems were replaced with state-of-the-art equipment. The addition integrated the existing structural system to the new work to provide a smooth transition with the original building. In addition, the exterior materials of precast concrete, stone aggregate panels, and standing seam copper roofing continue the original design elements.
