Estimate + Scope Reviews
H2M conducts emergency services and other reviews per scientific findings and per industry standards to ensure vendor work is assessed on a uniform basis claim to claim, and on a technically defensible basis in the instance of vendor rebuttal or in the eventuality of litigation. Reviews are supported by specific findings grounded in quantity, pricing, or scope evidence, and differences are communicated to the client carrier in detail.
Equipment placement and duration of use reviews are addressed through confirmation of the respective vendor’s psychrometric and moisture content data collected on site and summarized within field reports.
Emergency services reviews are conducted per applicable industry guidelines, e.g., the IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide, and the IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation.
Asbestos abatement scope and estimate reviews are completed per the claim venue State regulations in conjunction with Federal asbestos handling guidelines. In addition, industry estimating standards such as Xactimate are applied for operations, breadth of work, and trade valuations.
There may be instances where H2M’s detailed review does not find any material adjustments to recommend; in those instances, there will be no invoice generated for the service.
Our experience includes the following:
- Emergency mitigation services reviews
- Mold scope and remediation estimate reviews
- Asbestos scope and abatement protocol reviews
