H2M Featured at the 2023 Station Design Conference in St. Louis

H2M architects + engineers’ own Patrick O. Stone, R.A., Emergency Services Market Director, and Dennis Ross, AIA, Practice Leader, were featured in an article from Firehouse Magazine covering their experience at the 2023 Station Design Conference in St. Louis, MO. The conference featured 574 attendees and exhibitors, with speakers focused on topics the future of emergency response facilities.

Patrick and Dennis dove right into “Fire/Rescue Stations of the Future” with a range of issues that will impact the fire and emergency services. Departments are currently facing electric vehicle (EVs) and soon, hydrogen vehicles, climate change, and urban unrest. The costs of buildings and interiors will only increase. Renovating your station to accommodate new technology and equipment will be far more expensive in years to come.
