H2M architects + engineers (H2M) proudly announces the acquisition of Schneider Engineering, led by Steven Schneider, P.E., effective February 23, 2024. Bringing over 50 years of distinguished experience in Civil Engineering, Mr. Schneider is renowned for his leadership and expertise in traffic engineering, accident reconstruction, and forensic analysis.

Mr. Schneider’s comprehensive expertise in traffic engineering covers various aspects, including intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway design and maintenance, parking lot design, construction site safety design and analysis, condemnation cases, site plan development, storm and sanitary sewer design, traffic impact studies, parking impact studies, and building inspections. His significant contributions extend to major shopping center projects, where he has played a pivotal role in project coordination, field inspection, and the review and approval of contractor-submitted shop drawings and test results.

Based in H2M’s Long Island office, Mr. Schneider will leverage his wealth of knowledge and skills to enhance H2M’s existing services in the insurance, municipal, and real estate sectors.
