H2M CEO Richard Humann Named Environmental Leader by LIBN

H2M President and CEO Richard Humann, P.E., was recently featured in the Long Island Business News (LIBN) 2025 Environmental Leader spotlight.

Every year, LIBN honors leaders in government, business, and the nonprofit sector who have committed themselves to addressing the most pressing environmental and climate-related issues facing Long Islanders today. Under Rich’s leadership, H2M has more than doubled its employee count from 220 to 580 and expanded into 14 offices supporting clients and communities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.

H2M has a long history of designing ecologically sustainable solutions that help safeguard our land, water, and air from harm. More than nine decades after its founding, ecological sustainability remains among H2M’s primary values as an AEC firm, with project staff aiming to foster thoughtful, responsible environmental stewardship on every project.

Earlier this year, LIBN rewarded H2M’s dedication to environmental responsibility by honoring the firm with the 2025 Real Estate, Architecture & Engineering Award for Top Environmental / Sustainability Consultant.
