H2M Takes Home Three NJBIZ Awards
NJBIZ recently awarded three honors to H2M as part of the publication’s Leaders in Real Estate, Construction & Design Awards, an annual celebration of the most impactful architecture, engineering, construction, and real estate firms across the State of New Jersey.
Deputy Water/Wastewater Market Director Patrick Cole, P.E., CME, CPWM, received the Top Engineer award, reflecting his decades of engineering experience, creative problem-solving skills, and commitment to helping communities improve and preserve the health and sustainability of New Jersey’s water resources.
Top Project went to the Nancy Bader Drumm Educational Center, an adaptive reuse project that H2M performed in collaboration with the Township of Woodbridge and Our House, a nonprofit that provides educational and vocational programs to adults with disabilities. H2M repurposed an old, underutilized Catholic school for modern uses rather than designing a new building from the ground up. The reimagined 5,000-square-foot facility provides an engaging and inclusive environment with a new recreation room, dining area, teaching kitchen, classroom, fitness rooms, office space, and updated bathrooms. H2M Education Market Specialist Joseph Flynn, Ed.D., R.A., who served as project manager, accepted the award alongside Vito Cimilluca, Casey Wagner, and Patrick McSherry representing the Township of Woodbridge.
NJBIZ also honored H2M with the Top Engineering Firm award, a testament to both the breadth and depth of H2M’s impact on New Jersey’s diverse communities. Working out of offices in Parsippany and Wall Township, H2M utilizes innovative technology and a skilled team of experienced professionals to provide sound, principled judgment across a wide range of disciplines. H2M Principal Office Director Chuck Martello, P.E., LSRP, accepted the award.
Other H2M attendees included Central Jersey Office Director and Deputy Municipal Market Director Al Hilla, P.E., P.P, CME; MEP Practice Leader Chris Morris, P.E.; Senior Environmental Scientist Jeffrey Lynes, LRSP, and Water Resources Department Managers Stephanie DeCotiis, P.E., William Delnero, P.E., and Alec Mittiga, P.E.
