H2M Warehouse Project Featured in “Developing Long Island” Spotlight
H2M’s design of a 28,000-square-foot cold storage distribution warehouse in Hauppauge, NY, was recently featured in the New York Real Estate Journal Developing Long Island spotlight!
Twice a year, New York Real Estate Journal highlights the most exciting and impactful commercial real estate projects on Long Island. H2M’s warehouse design for MTK 200 Crossways LLC features two major compartments, one for frozen storage and the other for both dry and refrigerated storage.
The new facility uses a steel building frame with insulated EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) rubber roofing and walls composed of insulated metal panels. The project also features a four-bay loading dock, dedicated office and employee spaces, and 86 parking spaces (including three handicap spaces and 24 box truck spaces).
Once complete, the property will be leased to Glacier Point Enterprises, a direct store delivery distributor that will use this building 24 hours a day, seven days a week for the storage and distribution of ice cream and a variety of fresh and frozen products.
