H2M’s Elisabeth Martin Featured in Women in Construction Spotlight
H2M Practice Leader for Libraries & Interior Design Elisabeth Martin, FAIA, was recently featured in the New York Real Estate Journal 2026 Women in Construction Spotlight.
Each year, the publication honors the most innovative, talented, and accomplished women throughout New York State’s architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Over the course of her 35-plus years in architecture, Elisabeth has contributed her creativity and expertise to an array of transformative library and multifamily residential projects.
One of her proudest achievements was her work leading the interior architecture for the new Oceanside Library, a 48,000-square-foot library in Oceanside, NY. The library was envisioned as a hub for community gatherings, information sharing, and creative exploration, with a design that promotes mental wellness and an array of exciting modern amenities such as a theater area, podcasting suite, and demonstration kitchen.
