H2M’s Jessica Proscia Named in “Women in CRE” Spotlight

H2M Senior Project Scientist Jessica Proscia was recently featured in the New York Real Estate Journal “Women in Commercial Real Estate” spotlight.

Each year, the publication honors the most innovative, talented, and accomplished women throughout New York State’s commercial real estate industry. As an environmental scientist with over 15 years of environmental investigation and remediation experience, Jessica has supported the redevelopment of a wide variety of project sites under the New York City Brownfield Cleanup Program, New York State Superfund Program, New York State Spills Program, and other environmental initiatives.

In her spotlight, Jessica discussed some of the key leadership lessons she’s learned throughout her career. One important lesson was consistent across a number of mentors: the importance of accountability and transparency, and their role in strengthening client relationships and team cohesion.

“Accountability creates ownership,” Jessica told New York Real Estate Journal, “while clear, honest communication empowers people to take initiative and share ideas without fear.”
