H2M’s Joe Todaro Named NYSAWWA Board of Governors Trustee

H2M’s Vice President and Water/Wastewater Deputy Market Director Joseph Todaro, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, was recently named as an American Water Works Association (AWWA) New York Section Board of Governors Trustee.

Joseph will officially be announced as an incoming trustee at the 2025 New York Water Event, which serves as NYSAWWA’s annual conference in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Joseph has more than 35 years of experience in water supply engineering, including water system analysis and the design of water supply, water treatment, water storage, and pumping facilities. His responsibilities include the preparation of design plans and specifications, technical reports, system evaluations, client liaison for project scoping and planning, and construction administration.

The NYSAWWA Trustee Nominating Committee ­­­­— which is made up of the association’s five most recent past chairs — is responsible for presenting trustee nominations to the Board of Governors. Included among these past chairs is H2M’s Senior Water Resources Engineer Paul Ponturo, P.E., who served in the role in 2020.
