H2M’s Mike Vulpis Featured in “Rising Stars” Spotlight
H2M Civil Engineer Mike Vulpis, P.E., was recently featured in the New York Real Estate Journal (NYREJ) “Ones to Watch: Rising Stars” spotlight!
Every year, NYREJ honors the young professionals who make a difference in their fields, their industries, and their communities. Since joining H2M in 2019, Mike has made considerable contributions to our civil engineering projects and the communities they support.
Mike has had a lifelong passion for creativity and design. As a child, he loved building with Legos, designing his own structures rather than following the kit instructions. Mike’s grandfather, a civil engineer with the Army Corps of Engineers, was a major inspiration for his own decision to pursue civil engineering as both a career and a creative outlet.
A licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Connecticut, Mike is particularly adept in the areas of site layout, grading and drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, permitting, and construction administration. Currently, one of his major projects involves site improvements for a historic school building that H2M is transforming into supportive housing via adaptive reuse.
To learn more about Mike and the rest of this year’s honorees, read the June 30 print issue of NYREJ or visit the publication’s website.
