Harborfields Stadium Lighting Project Shines Bright at Ribbon-Cutting Celebration

H2M architects + engineers is proud to celebrate the successful completion of a major upgrade at Harborfields Central School District’s athletic field in Greenlawn, NY. On Friday, September 5, the district hosted a vibrant ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the newly installed stadium lighting system, an enhancement that brings new energy and visibility to evening athletic events and community gatherings.

The lighting installation is part of a broader series of improvements. In addition to the stadium lights, the project included illuminated walkways, a newly resurfaced track, and refreshed tennis courts featuring a sleek acrylic surface. These upgrades reflect Harborfields’ commitment to student experience, safety, and community engagement.

 

The ribbon-cutting event featured sideline sports clinics, a performance by the Harborfields marching band and giveaways including commemorative light-up bracelets for attendees. The celebration culminated in a night football scrimmage under the new lights, symbolizing the district’s forward momentum and the strength of its partnership with H2M.
