Intra- and Inter-Agency Integration

Senior Project Architect David Sherland, AIA, NCARB, recently authored an article titled “Intra- and Inter-Agency Integration” that was published in Firehouse. 

In the article, David highlights the importance of shared facilities for municipal fire departments that enhance operational readiness, foster intra- and inter-agency collaboration and reduce costs. 

“By integrating coordination into both planning and facilities, fire departments can strengthen operational effectiveness, improve inter-agency relationships, and position themselves for long term success,” David writes.
