Mold Inspection Services
Mold growth can begin to grow anywhere from 24 hours to 48 hours following exposure to moisture. Oftentimes, moisture goes undiscovered or unmitigated, resulting in mold growth. Mold can cause issues for property owners, insureds, tenants, business owners, etc., due to the reported health impacts it may have on those exposed to it. H2M can perform an array of mold inspection and/or water damage related services. We understand that time is of the essence when it comes to mold and water damage and therefore work on quick turnaround times for results and reports to our clients.
Mold Sampling and Remediation
H2M can perform mold assessments of impacted properties, including, but not limited to: visual inspections, moisture mapping, environmental sampling, and preparation of mold remediation work plans for contractors. Per the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL), licensed mold assessors are required to perform mold assessments when greater than ten square feet of mold growth is discovered, and a third party must then be hired to remove the mold. H2M’s staff is equipped with knowledgeable and experienced NYSDOL-licensed Mold Assessors.
Cause and Origin Services
H2M not only aims to find the mold and recommend remediation but we also work to identify what caused the damages. By identifying the source of the moisture, H2M can advise the client on what needs to be addressed to prevent future exposure.
