School Addition and Renovation

Originally constructed in 1970 as a junior high school, the modern Dayton Avenue Elementary School in the Eastport-South Manor Central School District needed mechanical, electrical, and technological upgrades to become a more efficient building. Our team replaced the entire exterior façade, windows, doors, and roof, added a new sanitary system and insulation, and upgraded the existing sanitary system. The team also designed a new 13,250-square-foot library media center. Formerly a cafeteria, the new expanded wing includes the library, ten classrooms, music suite, kitchen, and cafeteria/multipurpose room with an underground basement for more storage.
