Aviation Gas and Jet Fuel UST Replacement and Canopy Addition

The Essex County Improvement Authority hired our team to replace the two aging 20,000-gallon Aviation Gas (AV) and Jet A Fuel underground storage tanks (UST) and pumping stations at the Essex County Airport along with the addition of a new canopy.

We prepared complete design drawings and technical specifications for contractor bidding.

Additionally, we reviewed contractor submissions, provided responses to requests for information, oversaw construction, and managed the project budget during both the removal of the old UST and pumping system and the installation of the new system.

We also provided Licensed Site Remediation Professional services to ensure that the removal of the old UST system was conducted in accordance with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection regulations.
