A confidential client hired H2M to design eight electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for a shopping center parking lot in Farmingville, NY.
The client wanted to utilize PSEG’s Make Ready program to fund the installation of Level 3 EV charging stations, which also came with specific design criteria for H2M to follow. H2M coordinated the design and layout processes with the client and PSEG-LI to ensure that the installation would comply with Make Ready
requirements for full funding.
H2M is currently awaiting for final equipment selection, including the selection of an EV charging station manufacturer, before the design can be completed, built, and installed. Once operational, these chargers will provide shopping center customers with the ability to fast-charge their EVs while shopping.
