MEP Systems Design

We designed the MEP systems for the New Jersey National Guard Readiness Center, located on the Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst in Lakehurst, NJ.

The 41,000-square-foot facility supports the training, administration, and logistical requirements of the New Jersey Army Reserve National Guard. The facility comprises an unheated storage building, a controlled waste building, a flammable materials storage building, and a backup emergency generator.

Our team provided the design of a new main electrical power distribution system, an emergency generator, and emergency power distribution system, as well as fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems. The Readiness Center incorporates a number of sustainable measures, including four electric vehicle charging stations, and has been designed to achieve a LEED Gold rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
