H2M architects + engineers (H2M) is proud to announce that Commack resident, Michele Pincus, will be joining the firm as a Real Estate Market Specialist.
Michele comes to H2M with a background as an attorney with a focus in Real Estate Law. She has represented individual and commercial clients in real estate litigation, provided real estate tax advice, performed property assessment review, and advised on litigation strategy. Also well-versed in all aspects of the entitlement process, Michele has represented land developers and owners throughout New York State in their applications before municipal planning and zoning boards in matters pertaining to zoning, density, design, use and occupancy permits. For five years, Michele worked as Associate General Counsel for Long Island Power Authority, lending her valuable experience in the energy industry.
In this newly created role at H2M, Michele will assist in the growth of the Real Estate Market, focusing on strategic development, various forms of due diligence (including zoning reports and land use), building and property assessments, and facility management plans. Michele will also be responsible for maintaining a certain level of involvement during project execution, including scheduling and client coordination. Most importantly, she will build stronger ties and relationships with other attorneys, real estate brokers, property managers, developers, facility owners, corporations, and other real estate professionals to allow H2M to continue to effectively serve the Real Estate Market.
Michele received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University and her Juris Doctor Degree from the National Law Center at George Washington University. She is admitted to practice law in New York State, Washington, D.C., and the Federal Courts.
Furthermore, Michele is involved in many affiliations and volunteer groups. She currently serves as Vice Chairperson for the Board of Directors of the Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University; past President of the Women Economic Developers of Long Island; member of Long Island Real Estate Group, Hauppauge Industrial Association, and the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island. She was also the Grant Committee Chair and previous Advisory Council Member for Pink Aid Long Island, a charitable group that she is still very actively involved with and feels passionately about. Pink Aid Long Island’s mission is to help under-served breast cancer patients survive treatment with support and dignity, providing screening and financial assistance to those in need, and to empower breast cancer survivors to heal by helping and inspiring others.
