The H2M architects + engineers Jeff Janota Memorial Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit and character to an individual who is currently pursuing a master’s degree at a College/University in the field of Urban Planning/Development. H2M is a 465+ person architecture and engineering firm headquartered in Melville, NY with office locations throughout the NY/NJ metro area, Lower Hudson Valley, and Albany. Jeff Janota, AICP, PP was a dedicated Urban Planner who directed our Parsippany, NJ Planning Department from 2013 until his untimely passing in 2021. Jeff’s career focused on ways to improve the community and the lives of the residents through implementing both practical and well-established planning principles.
