Battery Energy Storage

H2M was been retained by multiple developers to support development of five utility scale battery energy storage projects ranging in capacity from 25 to 80 MW.  These projects are located in New York City and Long Island with Power Purchase Agreements anticipated with Con Edison and PSEG LI.    H2M’s responsibilities on these projects include developer support in the following areas: proposal to utility, critical issues analysis, NYISO interface, battery transmission design, substation interconnect design, substation interconnect study, transmission routing support, utility interface, site engineering, civil and geotechnical engineering, environmental and municipal permitting, landscape design, visualizations and renderings, environmental due diligence, noise analysis, and survey.
