Celebrating its 85th Anniversary, H2M architects + engineers has announced several internal changes to their corporate leadership. These changes, set forth by H2M’s President/CEO Rich Humann, P.E., are designed to better align the corporate structure with the growth of the firm and its Vision 2022 strategic outlook. Among the changes are Gary Loesch, P.E. transitioning to Senior Executive Vice President, and Gregory Smith, C.P.A. moving to Executive Vice President.
Having over 40 years of experience in the fields of engineering, architecture, planning, and environmental science, Mr. Loesch adds a unique perspective as Chief Operating Officer. He works to improve the quality of H2M’s services to better meet their clients’ needs. Throughout his years at H2M, he has played a key role in expansion, leading the way, setting the standards, and executing successful projects.
Gregory Smith has been with the company since 1987 and has worked to ensure that the financial processes and procedures support the fiscal health of the growing firm. Greg’s financial stewardship continues to guide the company’s financial strength and success. Both Executive promotions serve to further bolster the critical managerial infrastructure required for sustained growth and prosperity.
Humann also announced that Ronald Lanner, R.A.; Guy Page, R.A.; Michael Bonacasa, AIA; Charles Martello, P.E., LSRP; George Desmarais, P.E.; and Elizabeth Uzzo, SHRM-SCP, SPHR have all been promoted to Senior Vice President.
Ronald Lanner, R.A., ascends to lead the Architecture Division as the firm works to further expand the division, and become more market based. Mr. Lanner has been with the firm since 1996 as a Project Manager and has assisted in broadening H2M’s reputation in various areas, most especially our Public Agency clients. As the firm begins a more market based approach, Guy Page, R.A., CSI, will be leading the Education Market, while Michael Bonacasa, AIA, will be leading the Real Estate Market. Mr. Page first began his career at H2M in 1988 and was instrumental in establishing and growing the Education Market. Mr. Bonacasa was acquired by H2M in 2006, and has since taken H2M’s Real Estate Market to an entirely new level.
Charles Martello, P.E., is the Regional Office Director of the Parsippany office; utilizing his vast experience to provide leadership and oversight to the office as H2M expands all of its service offerings throughout the New Jersey markets. George Desmarais, P.E., assumes the responsibility of Municipal Market Director, allowing the firm to grow, and unifying municipal efforts across the firm.
Elizabeth Uzzo, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, who has been with H2M since 1990, will continue leading the firm’s executive team on all matters related to human resources. Shifting from a Vice President to a Senior Vice President, Ms. Uzzo will continue to provide leadership, clarity, and direction to H2M’s ever changing personnel infrastructure.
