Pat Cole Inducted to Vice Chair of the AWWA NJ Section

Congratulations to H2M architects + engineers’ Deputy Water Market Director, Patrick K. Cole, P.E. on being elected to Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees for the American Water Works Association New Jersey Section (AWWA NJ).

Mr. Cole accepted the nomination and was inducted at a virtual annual business meeting of the AWWA NJ on March 17th. Mr. Cole, Deputy Market Leader for H2M’s Water Market, has over two decades of experience serving clients in the water industry, and also manages H2M’s water practice in New Jersey. An active participant in AWWA for over 20 years, Pat served several years on the Board of Trustees for the New Jersey Section of the AWWA. When asked about his selection for Vice Chair, Pat responded, “AWWA has always been the flagship organization for America’s drinking water, and a longstanding partner in H2M’s commitment to the communities in which we live and work. At this key moment in history – as New Jersey introduces policies to manage a new wave of emerging contaminants such as PFAS and 1,4-Dioxane, I’m humbled by this opportunity to be of service to the men and women who never stop working to keep our water safe and reliable.”

The Vice Chair of the AWWA NJ Section Board assists in the planning of strategic direction that supports the vision of the Section.

As the significance of emerging contaminants has grown in America’s regulatory framework, the H2M team has taken on new and innovative technologies to address these concerns throughout New York and New Jersey.  Mr. Cole’s role provides another prominent example of H2M’s leadership in the industry and contribution to solution of water and wastewater challenges throughout the Northeast region.

Congratulations Pat!
