H2M architects + engineers is pleased to announce the expansion of our leadership team with our newest member, Joseph (Joe) Lamagese, AIA, Director of Corporate Quality Assurance/Quality Control residing in our Melville, NY office.
Joe brings to H2M more than 30 years of quality management experience in design and construction administration on a wide variety of projects. Projects have included governmental, institutional, and private sector projects such as police and fire stations, federal facilities, universities, secondary schools, pharmaceutical facilities, commercial buildings, religious institutions, and multi-family residential buildings.
Joe is joining H2M from The LiRo Group in Syosset, NY where he held the position of Senior Project Manager for Construction Management (CM) Services. Prior to this position, Joe was a discipline lead at Stantec, where he was responsible for managing and mentoring a staff of 12 architects. In this role, he established and implemented standards, and procedures to streamline operations and ensure quality control that met ISO 9000 certification requirements.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of Technology at Old Westbury, as well as an Associate degree in Applied Science in Construction Engineering Technology from the State University of New York at Farmingdale. Joe holds licenses as a Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and as a Registered Architect with the New York State Association of Architects.
The Corporate Quality Control/Quality Assurance Director position was created to oversee Quality Assurance in the expanding operations at H2M due to our continued growth and geographic expansion. Joe’s role will report to the new Core of Excellence.
Joe will be responsible for overall planning, implementation, management, and coordination of H2M’s Quality Assurance Initiatives to ensure that we are consistently achieving the highest quality standards and delivering services which satisfy our client’s needs and requirements.
